I have had the privilege to photograph Jenny & Nick during both of their pregnancies & family photos in between. Each session has been full of laughter & warmth. Getting to document their growing family of (soon to be!) 4 was precious. Their lil lady, Austin is an absolute spitfire & loves being in front of the camera. The way her Mama & Daddy rolled with her excited energy in a loving, grounded manner was perfect. You have to expect that taking family photos at the coast with a toddler means the toddler is not going to stay clean, or dry, and that she’s going to run & twirl around all she can. Documenting her candidly was precious, wet summer dress and all.
The light & earthy, warm tones of this location in the late afternoon sunlight- perfection.
Look at these glowing beauties!!
We concluded family pictures in the woods by the parking lot before heading to the next location where Mama was the focus for sunset.
Out of all the sessions I have had at this location- I have photographed the most pregnant women here- which I think is so badass. It’s a small, but decent hike to this location, of course we must factor in the 8-9 months pregnant aspect, and the epic, but intense views of the cliffside meeting the Pacfic Ocean. Women are so powerful, the juxtaposition of the churning ocean meeting the rugged land makes this spot so breathtaking on it’s own. Add in a beautiful expecting Mama in a long flowy dress?
It’s everything.
